Papers of the Tate family [manuscript], 1863-1922.

The collection contains a letter, 1863 December 28, James Graham Tate, Pisgah Church, Orange County, Va., to Charles Campbell Tate concerning conditions in his Confederate Army camp and mentioning several Wythe County soldiers, together with a published version annotated by Agnes Graham Sanders Riley, 1992. In addition there are two stationary cards depicting Graham's Forge Mill and the Old Crockett Home; a bulletin and historical sketch of Anchor of Hope Presbyterian Church, Max Meadows, and a clipping re Crockett's Cove Presbyterian Church, all of Wythe County, Va.
